Cheryl ~ Earned vs Learned

I did a college sa on the value of earned knowledge vs learned knowledge once.  While I know earned knowledge is vital, the study of history and medicine has change our lives.  We have learned what not to do to repeat our mistakes.  We have learned what certain diseases react to and what they don’t and this has saved countless lives.  However, all the knowledge has a value when it is coupled with field experience.  Earned knowledge comes with scrapes and bangs from the mistakes we had to make to learn the lesson.  It comes with opportunity to learn form our own history to change the course of our own actions in order to not repeat the same mistakes over and over in our lives.  Earned knowledge allows us and only us to relate to those experiences and then possibly share that knowledge with others.  If we look at some of the great people of history they weren’t just doers they were teachers.  Realize the value of your own learned knowledge.  Share what you know.  But what do I know.
