Kim - Speaking Up

Sometimes opportunities land in our laps. If we are prepared to receive them, we make the most of them. However, most of the time we need speak up and create some of our own opportunities.  Those we speak to may not have even known about our thoughts, hopes or plans. By speaking up we are sure not to miss out.

Hope Is To Purpose as Air is to Life

The power of HOPE to fulfill our PURPOSE

Hope: / [hohp] the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for; to look forward to with desire and reasonable confidence; to believe, desire,

Pur·pose: [pur-puh s]the reason for which something exists or is done, made, used, etc. ; an intended or desired result; end; aim; goal; determination; resoluteness.

Each of us has a purpose a reason for being.  For some of us we know that reason early on for others of us it is a gradual discovery.  Regardless of when this realization happens in order for us to fulfill our purpose we begin with hope.  That feeling that we can and will fulfill that purpose

Hope is to Purpose

As Air is to Life

Air allows us to breathe, to live to experience life.  Hope allows us to know, to believe that what we are meant to do we can do.  Hope gives us the strength to fulfill our purpose, to pursue our dreams.

Cheryl ~ Do Something

My friday afternoon thoughts.  There are moments in life where we aren’t sure what to do or where to go from the point we are at.  Today I know that to do something to try to move forward in some direction is much better than to sit and wait for things to move on there own.  Maybe we won’t make progress, or maybe we will.  Possibly we will open a door we never imagined and behind that door could be the one thing we would have never found if we just waited.  I am not saying to not have patience, yet even with things that require patience we can do something.  Maybe getting outside in nature and see life work out in our minds as we would like.  Maybe its taking a yoga class or reading an inspiring story on someone blog.  I am not sure but I know for me action is better than waiting.  But what do I know.

Cheryl ~ Regrets

There are moments in life where we weren’t as we planned or life isn’t as we planned or things aren’t as we planned.  If from those moments we learn and grow than should we have regrets?  Or if we learned even though there may be a sense of loss, failure or disappointment should we view them as lessons and not regrets?  Should we regret each moment we made a mistakes because some of my best moments and accomplishments came from mistakes.  Are we arrogant if we veiw those moments as events that had to happen to get us where we are at this moment or where we will be tomorrow?  If I were to veiw every mistake as a regret then in the end I would have a very big bag of regret I would be lugging around, yet instead if I view them as lessons and learn from the wrong part of the moment and find opporunity in the good then in the end I have instead worked from every mistake towards being the person I am meant to be.  I choose to learn to grow rather than to carry around a past I can not change. But what do I know.
